In the heart of Quebec City, in the vibrant Saint-Sauveur district, lies Cidrerie Intrus, a young company founded in May 2022 by four cider enthusiasts: Gabriel Boutin, Pierre-Édouard Perron, Charles Lapointe, and Simon Rooney. Their adventure began not only with a long-standing friendship, but also with a shared passion for Quebec apples and the desire to create a unique, natural, and vibrant product.

For these cider makers, their interest in cider stems from their desire to use a resource indigenous to Quebec, perfectly adapted to the local climate and abundant in abundance: the apple. Cidrerie Intrus' ciders are distinguished by their absolute naturalness, made 100% from apples, or sometimes in co-fermentation with other local fruits such as pears, plums, and cranberries. This minimalist and respectful approach to the fruit allows them to create authentic ciders full of character.
