The Chefs' Garden

Founded in the 1970s by Jean LeBlond, Le Jardin des Chefs revolutionized Quebec agriculture by introducing unusual vegetables to the chefs of Quebec's finest restaurants. His legacy was continued by his daughter, Valérie, who expanded the offerings to include farm-fresh and artisanal products.

In 2023, a trio of passionate market gardeners—Jean-William, Mickael, and Gabrielle—took over the family farm. Formerly restaurateurs, they combined their expertise in gastronomy and market gardening to create a space conducive to exchange, mutual support, and collaboration.

Today, Le Jardin des Chefs focuses on soil health, respect for ecosystems, and promoting local producers. More than a farm, it's a true community space where cultivating the land and sharing a passion for food go hand in hand.
