“When we finish our day here with our family, we tell ourselves that we really made the right decision.”
It was while living in the city and wanting to know where her food came from that Kristen Gingera had a brainwave. Why not keep chickens so she could eat fresh eggs?
Since chickens and a city balcony didn't mix well, Kristen and her family decided to move to the countryside. Today, there are not only laying hens on her farm, but also a full production of pastured Berkshire pork.
So, it was with the desire to feed her family healthily that the producer launched Cheeky Creek Farms. And now, she's feeding an entire community!
