The Idées Radicules team participated on May 7, 2021 in a solidarity chore organized by Québec Solidaire, at the Jardins de la Grelinette, one of the farms of Jean-Martin Fortier and Maude-Hélène Desroches.
In addition to organizing a meeting between citizens and market garden producers, Émilise Lessard-Therrien, member of Parliament for Québec Solidaire in the riding of Rouyn-Noranda-Témiscamingue, and Alexandre Legault, spokesperson for Québec Solidaire in Brome-Missisquoi, had the chance to discuss several current issues with Maude-Hélène Desroches, such as biodiversity, polyculture, economic, ecological and sociological aspects of the development of agriculture (organic or not) in Brome-Missisquoi and in Quebec in general , the next generation, food sovereignty, female models in agriculture, and many other exciting subjects that are shaping our agriculture and our food of tomorrow!
We invite you to join this authentic, engaged but almost intimate conversation, recorded between two agricultural chores, in a field, in the middle of spring.
