The little gourmet pleasures of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu
Description
From the cherry tree to the cup, from the bean to the bar and from the earth to the glass, this excursion will introduce you to the little gourmet pleasures in the heart of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
Your morning will begin among the aromas of coffee at the Bean et Bonheur roaster. Steve, the co-owner, will introduce you to the world of coffee through responsible purchasing, coffee culture, roasting, the language of this beverage and finally a comforting tasting.
You will then head a few steps further to the artisanal chocolate factory Treize Chocolats. Pascal, master chocolatier, will introduce you to his profession by taking you behind the scenes of his workshop. He will introduce you to his bean-to-bark process and offer you a tasting of his succulent chocolate.
The day will end on the Terre à Boire brewing farm, where the Oligny family, both farmers and brewers, will imbue you with their know-how and their passion for the land and good beer! You will discover their process which goes from their land and their hops to the glass. Finally, you will end your tour by tasting their tasty organic beers.
