The Rizen

Located in Frelighsburg in the Eastern Townships, on the agro-ecological collective farm Les Cocagnes , Le Rizen is the first Quebec company specializing in the production and processing of certified organic Asian vegetables intended for the local market.

Founded by Stéphanie Wang in 2016, the company practices bio-intensive agriculture on a small, minimally mechanized surface and prioritizes harvesting greens at a mid-ripe stage so that they can be bundled and sold without packaging.

Stéphanie Wang is also the co-author, with her two sisters, of the book Asian Vegetables: Gardening, Cooking, Telling .
