Learn about flax cultivation for the production of flax fiber on an artisanal scale with a spinning wheel workshop!
During this introductory course, you will have the opportunity to learn the stages and components of linen in its transformation as well as the creation process from sowing to spinning the fiber in 10 easy steps. Whether using an antique or modern spinning wheel, you will produce your own yarn!
In addition to the workshop, Paule, the owner of Les Argousiers Ste-Christine, will give you a complete tour of her farm and prepare a delicious Breton buckwheat crepe. You'll also take home a sheaf of flax and a bag of fiber flax seeds, so you can keep practicing!
