Basically, agriculture helps feed citizens. But agriculture is also a unifying practice, which has the potential to provide necessary support to communities while creating a great spirit of solidarity within them.
So what would be examples of initiatives to integrate agriculture into our communities while having a significant social impact?
Today on the podcast, we discuss solidarity agriculture initiatives in the company of two passionate women engaged in their communities. We welcome Marie-Salima El Kasmi from La Ferme Jeunes au Travail, as well as Kristen Perry, project manager in urban agriculture at the Popular Consumer Club of Pointe-Saint-Charles.
A “chicken broth for the soul” episode as Jean-William describes it so well!
